Being spiritual, what does it mean to you?

I call myself a spiritual person rather than assigning any particular religious or similar label to myself. I have had so many influences on my life I don't think I could say I was specifically a Spiritualist, a Wiccan, a Pagan etc... because I draw comfort from various belief systems.
I work with elements from different faiths. I predominately work with Angels and Spirit, but I also use magic. Depending upon what I'm trying to achieve I call upon different guardians and entities such as fairies, elementals, gods & goddesses. This works for me, as I have my reasoning for working with different deities, but I wonder how many of you work across 'faith groups' in this way or are the majority of you more singular in your beliefs?
My spirituality focusses on my main goal in life which is a central tenant of helping people and it hurting no-one else. So with magic for instance; there may be a negative person who needs to be removed from your life, I will use a spell that will help them move on, but not in a way that harms them. Karma will always catch-up with people, so you don't really need to involve yourself in a detrimental way.
Part of what defines my spirituality is my total belief in certain things - there is a higher force, there are energies and Angels guiding us, karma is real!, we have had multiple lives, we have soul groups, we all have psychic tendencies etc.. I do have questions, some of which cannot be answered, so I have to accept that. I also work hard to try and find a balance, because the world can wear you down a bit!
So overall I think I'm a generalist (Spiri-gen? new word) rather than a specialist. I'd really like to hear what you think about your beliefs (and if you can think of a better acronym).
